Who comes to this training.

People arrive at this programme from different directions. Some want to understand their own patterns and shift them properly. Others want the methodology so they can use it in their work with other people. Most want both.

What they share: they have usually tried other approaches. They are sceptical of hype. They want to know how something actually works before they commit seven days to learning it.

You want to change the pattern, not manage it.

You understand yourself reasonably well. The same patterns still keep running under pressure. You want to work at the level where they are actually generated, not just develop better strategies for coping with them.

You work with people and want the methodology.

You coach, lead, or support others through change. You want practical NLP skills that hold up in real conversations - not a theoretical framework, but tools you can use the following week.

Both are the right place to start. The training works at both levels simultaneously.

What NLP actually is.

NLP - Neuro-Linguistic Programming - is a methodology for understanding how the patterns that shape behaviour, communication, and emotional response are structured, and for changing them at that level.

The name is opaque. What it describes is practical: the way language, internal representation, and habitual response patterns interact to produce consistent - often unwanted - outcomes. NLP provides techniques for working directly with those structures rather than building workarounds on top of them.

This training is delivered by an NLPAA Master Practitioner and trainer. It is not an introductory workshop. It is a full seven-day certification programme that covers the methodology in depth and gives you practical skills to apply immediately.

What the seven days cover.

The training is structured to move from foundation to application. Each day builds on the previous one. By the final day you are working with the full methodology - in yourself and in practice with others.

01

How patterns are structured

Foundation (Days 1-2)

The core NLP model - how language, submodalities, and internal representation create consistent patterns of thought, feeling, and behaviour. You begin with your own patterns before working in any other direction.

02

Working with patterns directly

Technique (Days 3-5)

The core NLP techniques - anchoring, reframing, parts integration, timeline work, and language patterns. Practised in context, with feedback. Not demonstrated and filed away - worked with until they are usable.

03

Using the methodology with others

Application (Days 6-7)

Applying NLP in coaching conversations, communication, and leadership contexts. How to recognise patterns in others and work with them respectfully and effectively. Certification assessment.

What changes after seven days.

These are not aspirational outcomes. They are what participants consistently describe when they return to their lives and work.

Patterns that have not shifted, shift.

The techniques work at the level beneath insight. Things that have stayed stuck despite understanding - including long-running emotional habits, communication defaults, and self-limiting patterns - begin to move.

Conversations that previously stalled, move.

You develop precision in language and the ability to recognise what is happening beneath what someone is saying. Difficult conversations become more navigable. Influence becomes cleaner.

A methodology you can use immediately.

You leave with practical skills, not just knowledge. The techniques have been practised with feedback across seven days. They are ready to use in coaching, leadership, or personal contexts from the following week.

NLPAA Practitioner certification.

Questions people ask before registering.

Do I need prior NLP experience?

No. The training starts from first principles. Prior experience with NLP is useful but not required. The programme is structured to work for both people encountering the methodology for the first time and those who have done introductory work and want to go deeper.

How is this different from a one-day NLP introduction?

A one-day introduction covers concepts. This training covers the full methodology at the level of practice - techniques worked until they are usable, not just demonstrated. The NLPAA Practitioner certification reflects that standard.

Is NLP evidence-based?

NLP draws on research from linguistics, cognitive psychology, and behavioural science. The evidence base varies across specific techniques. This training is delivered within a framework of evidence-informed practice. We will be direct about what the research supports and where the evidence is more limited.

What can I do with the NLPAA Practitioner certificate?

The NLPAA is the recognised professional body for NLP in Australia. Practitioner certification is relevant for coaches adding NLP to their practice, leaders and HR professionals, and anyone wanting their NLP work to sit within a credentialled, accountable framework. It is also the prerequisite for NLPAA Master Practitioner training.

Is this suitable if I want to use NLP for personal change only?

Yes. A significant proportion of participants come for personal reasons rather than professional ones. You do not need to intend to use NLP with others to benefit fully from the programme.

How large are the cohorts?

Cohorts are kept deliberately small to allow adequate practice time and individual feedback. Maximum cohort size is confirmed at registration. If a cohort is full, you will be offered the next available date.

Seven days. The methodology, properly.

If you want to understand how patterns are structured and work with them at that level - in yourself, or in the people you lead or coach - this is where to do that properly.

Cohort sizes are kept small. If you are considering this training, register your interest early.
